Comments My wife and I have previously made dive trips to both Roatan and Utila, Honduras. What attracted us to the Villas at Dunbar Rock was the claim that they had NO - no seems or mosquitos (they were right!!!). Also Guanaja was reviewed as a dive destination that was a hidden gem.

We contacted their U.S. representative a few weeks in advance of our trip to find out that we would be the only two guests staying at the Villa. It has 11 rooms in total. Our expectations were exceeded in the room accommodations, the high quality of the food/meals, and services provided by the staff, from the management, bartender, villa services and dive staff.

Our dive gear was setup for us prior to each dive and wet suits were hung to dry by the dive crew after the morning two tank dives and the afternoon one tank dive trips. Truly concierge services. Dive site were about 25 - 45 minutes away. The Dive guide did a short briefing before each dive. The dive guide requested that we keep our dives to an hour. The reefs were very healthy with a lot of swim throughs, corals and fish life. Mostly macro photography with occasional nurse sharks along with us on several dives and a green moray eel.

Definitely a return dive destination.
