Comments	Ibagari Boutique Hotel at West Bay, Roatan has an incredibly beautiful pool, restaurant, bar and grounds, with lux friendly service from literally everyone, and great food (especially gourmet breakfast), adults only. We did 6 one hour underwaters with their super-pro and “aim to please” personally attentive dive operation Duna. Plenty of room on their fast, comfy, shaded boat, it was just the two of us with the excellent DM Caleb. They took a less experienced group out on a separate boat, instead of putting us all together- impressive service. Nitrox 32 on the money. Valet attention and assistance with gear. Relaxed pace, absolutely no regimentation, it was all about helping us two divers have a geat time. Viz about 70ish, water 85, low to no current issues. Fun cuts and crevices and some decent Carib-style fish life including swarms of minis, some 2ft turtles, scorpionfish, decorator crabs, creole wrasse, crab, and spotted eagle ray. Bunches of white-faced ocean triggers at Pablo’s place. At West End Wall, when we backrolled in just above a coral mount about 20 ft below us, there were about 50 Sgt Majors in the glinting water-filtered sun. Big barrel sponges in many places. A must-see dive is Blue Channel, a 20 ft wide sand channel with 40ft reef walls on both sides. As the DM predicted, when we came out of the channel onto the sea grass sloping sand, the viz dropped to about 25ft (bummer), but we found the wall of Big Eye Chad, 10 feet tall and 100+ feet wide, and it was amazing to see, even in the underwater "fog." Dive ratings were based on the reef suffering a reasonable amount, particularly the hard corals having brown algae on them in many locations, but the soft corals seemed in reasonable good shape. The Ibagari is way above 5star. . give it 10. Top of the line. Romantic and beautiful. [None]
