Comments This was my third year in a row diving with WannaDive. Steve does an excellent job of making sure that every dive is special. I messed up once and didn't consult my logbook so we did dive a location I had done last year, but after that we checked previous years and always found someplace new. In past years I dove with Cathy and Bob, both excellent tour leaders. They seem to have every dive site on the Kona coast dialed-in. They must know where every frog fish in Hawaii is located since they seem to find them on every dive.

Even though this was my third year, it was also the first time I got to dive with Steve, the owner. In the past, he has stayed up and provided surface support. Now I can put him in the same high level category as Bob and Cathy.

I find it interesting that each of the DMs will conduct a dive that feels different. They have different personal interests and it shows in the tours they lead, but I would have trouble picking my favorite, they are all excellent.

This year I didn't do the Manta dive having done it the previous three years. Considering the reports of massive numbers, I should have and will probably do it again if we go back to Kona next year.

Rates are in line with other Kona shops, perhaps a bit less, but discounts start kicking in on the third trip and beyond and make it a really good deal.
