Comments Have gone diving with Pauline & co. many times before. As expected, they did a terrific job with the predive info. They told us what they were going to look for and what we might see. They provide snacks & drinks & fresh water rinse on board. They also provide dry jackets to wear if it gets a little wet on the boat ride.
When it was too rough to go out to Molokini, they headed south to La Perouse (a long ride) because they knew it would be calmer.
On this trip they had more newly certified divers than when I went with them previously.
They didn't change their itinerary for them, but make sure they were comfortable & safe and helped them with whatever they needed.
In 20+ yrs of diving in Maui this was the coldest water I have experienced here. I normally dive with a 3mm wetsuit, but had to borrow a 7mm. It was 73 degrees & they said it had been as cold as 70 this winter.
I saw several different nudibranchs that I had not seen before. I also saw about 100 bristle worms on a shore dive which I hadn't seen before also. Saw leaf fish, lionfish, anthias, octopus, harlequin shrimp, lots of turtles; also saw humpback whales while on the boat.
My wife & I are never disappointed when diving with Severns.
