Comments Wow! One dive was a top 5 lifetime dive for me, and the op was as good as it gets.
First dive: Molokini Crater wall: huge schools of pyramid butterflies and angels. 12-15 reef sharks swim by in first 5 min of dive. Pelagic manta ray approaches and shows off for us. Lobsters size of dachshunds. Shark cleaning station. Turtle. Great dive! Advanced divers only, stride entries within crater, drift style exits outside crater.
Op is great. They rent aqualung, same brand as my gear. So instead of giving me lead blocks, they just pulled my pockets, and snapped in their pre-marked weight pockets. Everything was set up before I even set foot on the boat. Towels provided. Sodas, snacks, too. Nice sandwiches on longer Lanai dive trip. Good head, and fly bridge. They rinse you off as you exit ladder. They are meticulous about rinsing at end of day, even non-rental gear, too. Highly skilled crew, with very thorough dive briefs. Environmentally aware; waited for a turtle to clear the slip in harbor.
My buddy saw spinner dolphins.
