Comments I've been diving in Hawaii yearly (sometimes more than one trip per year), and LD has been my choice from the first time in 2009. Two boats take up to 18 divers each, but you never feel crowded and the divers are divided into 2 or 3 groups, each with a divemaster. Most dive sites have moorings, giving the opportunity to cruise arose the top of the reef near the boat if you've more air/no-deco time on your computer. Some dives are "live" drops, with groups entering the water SEAL style, drifing, then getting picked up as a group, such as the Molokai hammerhead charter and the 3-tank trip to Lanai on Thursdays. DMs make a real effort to look for rare creatures and those endemic to Hawaii and seem to enjoy when you've found something unusual and want further info, not just "herd cats" as with some operators I've experienced. Lanai dive sites chosen based on customer requests and best conditions, so if you've down the cathedrals already, you may not have to repeat them within a dive week. Discounts for multiple dive days (20% for 5 or more 2-tank trips. Snacks and deli lunch between dives on am charters. Will transport your gear to/from shop and boat slip. Rinse buckets at shop, with space to store your gear in your own mesh bag between dive days. We saw a whale shark on one Lanai trip and a school of false killer whales between dives on another day. Conditions ranged from little current to strong surges (during a south swell on few days). I wear a 5 mm full wetsuit because I get cold, but divers wore only dive shorts or bathing suit.

Forgot to checkoff the "dive your own profile" box as yes. You need to have your own computer or rent one from LD. No deco, or you're sitting out the next dive.

Apologize for my spelling errors. Went back Sep 25-Oct 2. 10 dives, all great, including seeing 19 hammerheads on the Molokai dive trip.
