Comments The boat was roomy, partially covered, and did have a bathroom. They were well equipped with emergency equipment and even had life rafts. There was a warm, freshwater shower to use to rinse off after the dive if you wished. They had fresh fruit, cookies, water, juice and soft drinks to consume between the dives. The back of the boat had a wide dive platform which made it easy for entering and exiting the water. Capt. Stephen was very helpful and efficient in getting our BCDs and tanks set up, along with helping us in and out of the boat.
Their dive shop was well equipped. Everybody we talked to from the shop keepers, divemasters and boat captain were very friendly and helpful.
While traveling between dive sites they do throw out fishing lines to catch dinner which was fun.
The dive sites were interesting with quite a bit of fish and hard coral. I did not realize that Hawaii has virtually no soft coral or sponges. We did see turtles and eels on every dive.
I would definately recommend Kohala Divers and will use them again when I return.
