Comments	Kauai's south shore has many lava tubes with some coral that extend from the shore. Koloa Landing is a small inlet 1/2 mile west of the Sheraton and Marriott Resorts at Poipu used by Kauai Down Under (PADI Five Star) for their scooter dives. Easy protected entry, also used by other divers and snorkelers. Saddle mount ScubaPro scooters were easy to use and we (two) divers and one guide, made two separate AM dives with shore interval (chairs, cookies, soft drinks supplied). All diving equipment is also supplied, though used my own. Excellent, patient guide trained us in the use of the scooters. First dive, after stopping to dismount the slightly negatively buoyant scooters, we saw moray eels, octopus and corals. Next dive we scootered for about 10 mins to broken lava tubes which form "caverns" with easy swim-throughs; more turtles. Very pleasant and easy diving, ideal for new or older divers.
