Comments I recently spent a few days diving in Maui and was very impressed with the operator Dive and Sea Maui (They have a web-site), which was recommended by a friend and they didn't disappoint. Captain John and Emi, the DM, have a beautiful new boat they are taking out of the Kihei boat launch. I'd dare to say that it is the finest dive boat I've been on in the last ten years of diving that I've done. The boat is equipped to take a max of approximately 8 divers, and has plenty of giddy-up to get you to your sight quickly. In addition the DM allowed us to dive to our ability, without setting time limits on our dives, allowing the divers that are good on air to get in nice long dives. We dove Molokini as well as a great turtle dive at a cleaning station we called "Turtle Porn" (a play on Turtle Point) where, on our descent, we intterupted a couple of turtles going about their business before coming upon about 9 more. When I get back to Maui I will certainly dive with them again and recommend them highly.
Lots of accommodations are available nearby in the form of condos. I found mine on the web site VRBO.com.
