Comments The Hilton was great. Beautiful grounds and pool. Overwater bungalow had great snorkeling with sting rays, eagle rays, octopus and a variety of fish. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Moorea Blue Diving did a great job. Smallish boat and no water tank for camera gear, but the ride is only about 15 minutes to the dive sites. The rental gear was very good condition and its included in the price of the dive. They picked us up at the Hilton in the morning and dropped us off after for no charge. I sent them an email on a Thursday morning to see if they had any openings and by the evening I was booked for diving on friday.

The safety stop was in the calm waters of the lagoon 5 minutes from the dive site. The had some fruit, granola bars, and juices.

There were lemon sharks that were attracted to the area by a tuna head in a bucket system by the anchor. They were very large and stayed most of the dive. Saw a couple of big black tips and some nice turtles. There were not a great deal of fish and no schools of fish.

The second dive had numerous turtles, mostly greens.
I would dive with Moorea Blue Dive again for sure. Nice gear and very nice people. My sample is only based on 2 dives but not sure there is enough marine life or variety to warrant extensive diving in Moorea.
