Comments Qamea resort is not easy to get to, three flights, a van ride and then a boat just to get to the resort, however it was worth it. Very nice resort, with super nice people, and a full menu and Bar area. The resort is very conscious of their being on an island inhabited with natives and go out of there way to be respectful and helpful of their neighbors.
The diving was very good, while there was an absence of eels and turtles, there was exceptional reef life. Reefs were very health and water had in parts exceptional clarity. Drift diving in the stronger currents allowed for some of the reef and soft coral to open up which made for very exciting diving with small to big being seen.
By the way, the reefs were so health because people do not seem to dive here. Not only were we the only ones on the dive boat, we were sometimes the only boat on the water.
Dive staff was helpful, friendly and professional
