Comments	The wind was blowing 20-30 mph and the small dive boats were unable to go outside the Astrolab reef due to the swells. Inside the barrier reef the visibility was poor, there were not many fish and no soft coral to speak of. There are not many locations to dive inside the barrier reef-I dove 4 days and went to Cabbage Patch 3 times!!! There is a limited amount of food served and the quality is not all that great. The small dive boats are not big enough for going outside the barrier reef when there are swells of any size. This was my third trip to Fiji and I will probably go again next summer, but not to Matava Resort.
