Comments My wife and I had been to Fiji many years ago, but not to Malolo Island and not to Six Senses. Six Senses is in a class by itself, barefoot luxury at its finest. From the welcome when you arrive, each bures with a private pool, the choice of restaurants and activities, nothing is overlooked-you are made to feel like royalty. We dove for 4 days, but for 2 of the days the water was very choppy and we had to return after only a single dive. We were the only divers, so the boat, the captain and the divemaster, who were both fabulous, were all ours. The all steel dive boat was very functional with a single rear ladder. Most dives were drift. Corals were amazingly healthy, especially the fields of cabbage coral at Cabbage Patch. Turtles and an occasional shark were seen on most dives. The hotel has a marine biologist on staff and houses a coral restoration project that guests can participate in. The beach was perfection, and the staff are the friendliest people in the world.
