Comments We were delayed in San Juan for two days because of low clouds and rain at Melville Hall airport in Dominica, resulting in passenger planes not able to land. Our luggage, however, did get sent on before us. Castle Comfort personnel very supportive and kept in touch via phone and email to check on weather at the airport and to try to check on ferry service to Dominica if we were to fly in to another island and connect. Trip insurance covered our unexpected hotel in San Juan. Buying a day pass to American Airlines Admirals Club saved us from having to stand around, now with more than 200 other delayed travellers, waiting to see if a plane could land.

The entire staff at Castle Comfort Lodge and the dive staff from Dive Dominica (on the grounds of CC Lodge) made our shortened dive vacation extremely enjoyable.
