Comments This was the first time we have been to an all inclusive resort. I am the only diver in my family of four. We were considering going back to Cozumel or Grand Cayman. I read about The Dive Bus in the online area of Undercurrents and visited their website. Since they said they were next to Breezes, we decided to give it a try and stay there. I contacted The Dive Bus by e-mail and asked about getting booked with them. Their response was prompt and very informative. The Dive Bus is literally next door. Very convenient. Mark, one of the owners along with wife Suzy, met me the first morning at the front entrance of Breezes and I was driven to their operation. I was able to walk back and forth or I was offered a ride by Mark. The walk was only about 5-10 minutes so most of the time I walked. The Dive Bus seemed to be a busy operation but no one seemed to be kept waiting. Mark and Suzy are very warm and friendly. I felt like I was among friends from the start. I am a fairly new diver and Mark made me feel comfortable with his peak performance bouyancy course. We either dived the reef in the back of The Dive Bus or Mark carried us- me and one other diver and his non diving family one day and another couple another day- to the sites. He gave very consise and informative dive briefings. He was very good at finding and pointing out the different animals we found. His signals for seahorses and frog fish are a hoot. We followed him but were able to go deeper or shallower and were free to linger if we wanted. We turned around to head back when the first diver in the group had a half tank of air remaining. Mark took my 10 year old daughter on a discovery dive. It took about 2-3 hours for the whole experience. He explained theory and skills and when we got into shallow water he demonstrated the skills and had her demonstrate. He put her at ease with his mild manner and she is hooked. With Mark at her side, we dived to about 20 feet. He showed her fish and other animals. When we go back next year, she wants to get her junior certification. And we will be back. We will dive with The Dive Bus. I am extremely satisfied with their service and attitude. Not with just the owners but their whole staff. My son had a bad cold and when I asked Mark where the nearest pharmacy was, Terri, one of the part time staffers, offered to take my wife by car to get cough medicine. About Breezes, as I said this was our first time at an all inclusive and I don't have anything to compare it to but we were very happy there. There was plenty for my children to do at the kids club. There were activities for adults as well. The food was plentiful and it was tasty. The staff was friendly. The resort was relatively clean. All in all we had a good time. The best part of is it is next to The Dive Bus. Many thanks to Mark and Suzy for a wonderful vacation.
