Comments Sunset waters is a very pleasant location. A nice rather small resort on a bluff overlooking the Caribbean. The weather was very warm, 90F or so. Very dry. Nor rain while we were there. Curacao has quite a dry desert type of climate. Curacao does not have lush, verdant, tropical vegetation. The accommodations are adequate. The food was included in my package. The food was very good. The staff was attentive and concerned about our requirements. The dive staff was very well qualified. The dive staff informed me that the diving at Curacoa is about as good as it gets in the Caribbean. Of course, every dive shop will tell you that. But I think that it is a rather accurate statement. Currents were virtually absent. The visibility was very good. Water temperature was 85F or so. No need for wet suits. As far as the marine life, I would say typical Caribbean. Many schools of smaller fish. No very large schools of medium sized fish. No pelagic fishes were seen. My package was two tanks of boat diving and unlimited shore diving. I did not do any shore diving. The dive boats are very well maintained. The number of clients on the boats ranged from about 6 or 8 to about 15 or so. Not a cattle boat operation. Overall a very pleasant experience. Nice easy diving. A very pleasant Caribbean dive experience.
