Comments Spectacular!! Our DM Ana knew the cenotes like she lived there. TCG is a freelance association of cave divers who lead rec divers through pre-charted routes through cenotes, with a single reservations desk. They provide all gear, and are careful to fit you correctly. On the way to the cenotes, our guide stopped at the local street market to buy us lunch for later.
We chose to book private dive tours — limiting to 2 divers per guide. Glad we did. A professional photog dives at some of the cenotes, creating poster-worthy pics. The water is crystal clear — except at the halocline, if you’re so lucky — and the light filtering through is majestic.
No frills, but the DMs are helpful, knowledgeable about the sites, and well-equipped. A very enjoyable experience. And the tshirts are cool.
