Comments	As noted in the May, 2004, Undercurrent, the Iberostar is, indeed, seeming to restrict all other dive op's than Dressel, which had a v. poor reputation at time of my presence with all but novice divers. I was on the pier the day SeaUrchin, my preferred op (with a six-pack boat which was WAY too much fun) got the edict that they had to profer all documents, plus pay a per-head charge for all divers picked up at the dock. It was with shock and disbelief that other dive op's confirmed this--although the Careyitos, with a bigger boat and a capacity of 12, was better able to scoff at the Iberostar (and, allegedly, the Occidental with the same policy)and rely on hotels closer to their dockage and more-sizable potential clientelle. As a back-up when chop and currents made it too hard for smaller boats to come, I also took Scuba Du for a day; their restrictions and novice- level of divers left much to be desired. For those of us who have patronized Cozumel for years and years, I suggest buoy-cot(pun intended) or scathing feedback to Iberostar and its "foreign" ownership who are clearly trying to drive the natives out of business.
