Comments We picked Advanced Divers because of their comfortable boat and more leisurely pace than some of the fast sixpacks in Coz, and were not disappointed--the Careyitos is wonderful boat (though it does seem hard to get away from the diesel smell on the dive deck). The crew are really on top of it, from setting up gear properly to getting you back on board in choppy seas to making a nice (if repetitive) lunch for the surface interval. Divemaster Luis was a delight to dive with--takes his time to show you creatures and always alert to safety issues. Divemaster Simone was ultra professional, but his pace is fast, and it was hard to linger if you're diving with him.

Saw a lot of big critters: biggest lobsters ever, an 8-foot spotted eagle ray, huge hawkbill turtles. Reefs looking quite good just 10 yrs after the hurricane.

We had two equipment issues, both of which Simone resolved for us on the spot.

We'd definitely dive with this operation again.
