Comments The cabanas are clean w/ adequate showers and cooling facilities w/ overhead fans. I'd rate the mattress a 3 on a five point scale.
The food is terrific: egg station or pancakes cooked to order w/ the usual cereals and fresh fruit w/ good coffee and juices for breakfast; soup, a salad station, tasty entrees/sandwiches for lunch; and a choice of two appetizers, two entrees, and two desserts for supper. The bar opens early and provides anything you can think of.
The dive operation is on time and Nitrox is available at a pricy $15/tank. Divemasters Henry, Mirabella, and Christian take great care of you, find the overlooked critters for you, and are fun to be around. The diving is easy w/ plenty to see and Bloody Bay sites are spectacular. The boats run well and the limited no. of divers makes them spacious.
We encountered a mild current on only one dive. The fish population has somehow increased since we were there 5 years ago and we saw only a few lionfish. The water was very warm and wetsuits are optional.
The downside? Adding extra dives is quite expensive! We were delayed a day getting there by missing a connection and they refused any refund on the night's lodging we did not use. They wouldn't haggle about the Nitrox price.
