Comments As with virtually all of the Caribbean, the corals have bleached due to increasing water temperatures. The good news (?) is that 86-degree water down to at least 130'(my max this trip) means no need for wetsuits and less weight to carry - just wear diveskins or rashguards to avoid stinging matter in the water .

Bloody Bay Wall is still spectacular with dizzing arrays of colorful sponges & fans... but few fish or larger denizens. We spotted a barjack engaging in opportunistic feeding over a stingray, a solitary large trevally and a charming complaicent hawksbill turtle.

Barracuda Bight had the most marine life: turtles, lobsters, juvenile drums, scads of black durgon, creole wrass. And huge ancient Volkswagon-size barrel sponges.

Reef Divers' valet dive service was top notch. My sole concern was the ratio of divemasters to divers. There were a fair number of newer divers & on at least 1 dive there were 20 divers with just 1 divemaster. Several newbies with insufficient buoyancy control knocked into other divers - including me - as well as invertebrates on the site.
