Comments Paradise Villas and Little Cayman Divers are 50m from end of the runway, but pick you up with their pick up to carry your gear and bags. No noise problems with only 3-4 prop flights per day. Villas are nice, w/ efficiencies; very clean, A/C, pleasant decks and balconies on water out back, plus hammocks, lounge chairs. Queen bed (1 has split singles) and a futon in rooms — divider, no door, between sleep areas — tight but doable. Pool on property. Definitely not a “resort”., but quite acceptable.
Separately owned Hungry Iguana restaurant adjacent to pool — Indian and Caribbean cuisine provides variety, decent, not fancy or gourmet. The bar seems a fave of local biologists, dive crews, expats. We enjoyed the Iguana every night. Al fresco dining seems like a good choice, until the flies chase you inside.
Dive op very good. Rental gear ready on board, if arranged. Will drive you the 5 min to dock. Newish 46’ Newport, with good space for divers. Excellent pre-dive brief — site map, highlights, plus safety check down. Option to folllow either of 2 DMs or do your own plan. Dive sites are excellent — swim throughs and great light/viz on Bloody Bay Wall (north side). Interesting wrecks and bommies for afternoon dives on South side. Something for all skill levels. Saw plenty pretty fish, turtles, seahorse, slugs, even squadron of cuttlefish. A few larger grouper, snapper, and a large nurse shark.
Overall great dive trip. No frills, no excitement, but very pleasant.
