Comments This was my second live aboard and the only thing keeping it from being close to perfect was a half day of diving lost due to fringe effects, rain and strong winds, from Hurricane Joaquin. We were at Little Cayman as the hurricane went by and had to return to the shelter of Grand Cayman after only a day and a half of Little Cayman diving. Except for Mother Nature's intervention, the trip was great. The boat was comfortable with excellent food and the best staff (Captain Lauren, Engineer Rodel, Chef Kingsley, Dive Master Clancy and Housekeeper Tenechea) one could hope for. Five dives were available with a 6th dusk dive available on one day. All dives were from the boat, which had a large dive platform at the rear with two ladders and two warm water showers. Dry towels were on the railing to dry off after every dive. The diving had everything from wrecks to walls, pinnacles and reefs. Many good swim throughs in the reef. Fish life was somewhat limited compared to other areas such as Mexico or Bonaire, but several sharks turtles, eels made the dives interesting.

UW Photo Comments Plenty of room on the dry/photo table for the divers on out trip. If more of the divers had large cameras the table could get crowded.
