Comments Even thought the winds were heavy and from an unusual direction, great diving prevailed. Crew at Brac Scuba Shack (BSS) were very accomidating, and worked hard to put us on sites best suited to the conditions. Even making some longer runs to sites not regularly dived
Booking was easy with very responsive emails. "Dive Ocean" is extremely well maintained and diver friendly. Able to handle 20 or more divers, but limited to about 10. Sit at the swim deck, gear is brought to you for donning, then easy giant stride entry. Safe ladder exit, then reverse the process. We dived our own gear, but rental gear was available and appeared in good order. Water, snacks, marine head, and camera table included. DM in water, but dive your own computer no-deco profile. Briefings were detailed, but considering the sea state, thankfully brief with white board drawings. Although we did not partake in shore diving, others on the boat did, and stated conditions were somewhat challenging at the sites they choose based on the windy conditions.
Meals at Captains Table and Brac Reef Resort were delicious, and specials were reasonably priced considering everything on the island is somewhat higher. Barry's Golden Jerk has outstanding chicken to take home on specific evenings until it's gone, and just West of him is a little aqua green building with amazing burgers.
Car rental was with 4D rental. They brought the car to the airport, paperwork completed later at our house, and we left it at the airport at departure.
Wonderful trip. Will go "Brac"
