Comments Our group dove Bonaire with Divi Flamingo in November. Weather wasn't great because of tropical systems - rare for Bonaire. The reef is in incredible shape. Super corals hard and soft. Lots of small critters, some turtles but almost nothing larger. Boats were good sized typical cruisers. No toilets on boats. No fresh water for showers. Some shade available. Their typical dive dock next to the dive shop was damaged by a tropical storm and many of the outdoor lockers were damaged as well. Obviously not their fault and they are trying to work around it but it does create issues. Most of the Dive crews are very good. A couple seemed less interested in customer service. Not sure if the presence of so many Europeans (who often don't tip) impacts this or not. The resort has been improved and overall is in good shape. Room location makes a difference. The larger rooms are on the periphery of the property and are subject to external noise, etc. The restaurants do well but food quality varies. The Hotel staff went to great lengths to accommodate our group. Unlimited shore diving available and rental cars are easy to find. Town is an easy walk form the hotel with plenty of shopping and dining options. Touring the island is also recommended.
