Comments Everytime we return, there is something new! The pavers around town are done, and they look very good! Our flight in was with Inselair- which at the time we booked was a one hr layover in Curacao- 2 weeks before our flight, it changed to a 6 hr. layover. They now fly direct from Miami to Bonaire. The Inn has a new dock- the old was taken out by Omar last year; and the home reef is great as usual. The rooms are basic, and clean, with maid service every day.The dive boats, the fastest on the island, go out 2 times a day: 8:30 and 1:30; and it is an easy backward roll into the calm, beautiful water. The area is so prolific with fish- parrots, tangs, angels, squid, filefishes, trumpetfish- most of Paul Humann's book is there. Our grandson, Christian, made a great find of a pea- sized juvenile trunkfish in a coral crevice! The crew- Linda, Kitty, Gary, and Karen (Ralf was on vacation), is entertaining, friendly, and knowledgeable. you can dive with or without a guide, with most of the dives lasting over an hr. Their dive shop is well stocked, and reasonably priced; and Bruce can repair just about anything! We enjoy dining on the water- Karel's is great fun, and we like the walk to town. The grocery stores are always a challenge- you never know what you will or will not find- we often bring items from home. No wonder Bonaire is one of our favorite places to dive, and we come back to the Carib Inn year after year.
