Comments First the bad. Diving with these people is like your 4th grade field trip. Should change name to Bonaire Dive and Risk Management. Rules are restrictive, management is meddlesome and help is officious. It is a soul killing experience. In justice, Travis (one of the DMs) is a nice guy, they haven't quite finished him off yet. I never should have elected the boat package, I will be back to Bonaire, but, the next time it will be all shore diving. If you are a self sufficient diver, they are the worst since Louis the First. If you are new to diving or you are getting your 14 year old into the sport they would be fine. Boats are weak. They don't care if you return, and, they seem to have no interest in tips.
Now the good. The Sanddollar is a little dated, the location is wonderful, the house reef is nice, our unit was updated nicely and if you want a kitchen it is a viable option.
The reefs on the island are looking pretty good, not too much algae,Lionfish are about, wide variety of small fish and turtles. Salt Pier is a beautiful dive. Night dive at Bari Reef was very pretty with lots of feeding Tarpon.
