Comments	Belmar Oceanfront Apartments are run by Buddy Dive Resort. Only real problem was water pressure in second level bathroom shower. I would stay there again, but only on first floor. The Roomer Hotel across the street is good for breakfast and dinner and has a nice bar. We had to travel via Miami and Curacao since direct flights were twice the price, over $1200. Never again, if I can't get a direct flight at a reasonable cost I won't go, just too much hassle. I do recommend Divi Divi airlines, but Curacao Airport (and nearby hotel) and Miami International should be avoided. Diving was poor (by Bonaire standards) for two days due to wind. Conditions improved thereafter and we enjoyed all our dives except for one at Lac Bay. We dove from Cai on the east side of the bay and ran into a very strong outgoing tide. We had to abort the dive and work hard to get back. There are supposed to be big fish in "the bowl" located in the mouth of the bay. Check the tide before diving.

UW Photo Comments	Rough conditions limited photography to boat dives. John Wall at Buddy Dive Digital Photo Center loaned me a Ikelite housing base and handles without charge. I had left this part home. Viz was was below average for Bonaire due to windy conditions.
