Comments	Belmar/Bonaire apartments - major change in management. Out of 22 units only 5 are now managed by Buddy Dive. The remainder of the units are now split between two new property management firms. Main reason for change is new owners of the units want to use them more (like snow birding, etc..) where they were formerly restricted to 6 no-cost weeks use under their old contract with Buddy Dive management. So, while we were there, we had to deal with an off-site property manager for a unit (#8) that was substandard from we had experienced at the Belmar in the past. Also, a lot of very noisy work going on in the units not managed by Buddy Dive. The place was at most 30% occupied We had family with us and they stayed at the Bellafonte Resort. Much, much nicer place than the Belmar. Belmar On-site diving support excellent. Our 11 year old grandson took the PADI junior training course and it was excellent. Had we known what was happening we would not have made the trip. Not worth the Airline/Airport hassles and costs to overnight on the trip in and out. Major change in the reef from our 2019 trip. 80% or more of hard corals dead or dying. Still lots of fish but 50% of what we used to see in the past. Probably due to higher water temp. (previous trips temp was max 82 deg) and a new coral disease they are trying to control.
