Comments I have dove in Bermuda for about 4 seasons. But the dive operators need to take repeat customers to different sites. I am interested in underwater photography. As a beginning photograher, they do not accomodate you very well. They are very interested in getting you to a site, get you into the water and out again--then to the second dive so they can get back to the harbor by noon for the afternoon dive. So I felt very rushed. I came back with well over 1000psi more than once, because all the new and inexperienced divers had come back to the boat.

Blue Water divers are on top of their game as far as administration. They have a very friendly staff. They are interested in making sure that you have a good dive experience. It is just they need to pay attention to buddy pairing. If they have a group of inexperienced once a year divers that want to race around the reef, they should pair those with people who are of the same ilk.

I have numerous dives on the same wrecks. I can't get the dive operators to change though--even after I gave them a list of dives I have not been to. So this was my last season in Bermuda for quite a while. The last 3 days of diving that I could have done was interupted by a hurricane. They refunded my dives for the days that I had already paid for yet could not dive because of adverse weather. DHC

UW Photo Comments The dive operation is one of the best. However, they do not pair experienced divers with experienced divers. Photographers that happen to get into a group of divers that want to race around the reef with no desire of the other divers to be patient for taking pictures--your out of luck. The dive operation does help you with getting your camera off the boat and into the water and out again. They have a separate container for cameras. They could do a better job taking divers that want to see bigger fish, sharks etc to those places. I was limited in what fish were available to take pics of that I had already taken pics of.
