Comments Party of four in two rooms. Did two morning dive. Three on the Blue Hole day and three on the Thursday night dive. It's pricey, but isolated, quiet, relaxing. A lot of options for fishing as well. The rooms/cabins south of the main lodge look relatively new, and have a breakwater/ dock that protects a beach area. The entire staff was very nice and ready if you needed something.

Reefs generally healthy looking. Some Lion fish, that DM Brad would occasionally spear. The morays, nurse sharks and large snappers and groupers enjoyed the lion fish. You can rent a Hawaiian sling if you like. Brad is a super DM. Lots of local knowledge. Laid back, but instructive when need be. Ready with extra weights or a mask(my mask frame cracked on the first dive). Big stuff: Gray and Black tip reef sharks(just solitary), nurse sharks, turtles, Southern Sting rays. Goliath Grouper. There is local fishing on the other cayes, but we saw a healthy amount of snapper and Nassau grouper. Lots of the usual. Back roll entry and side ladder exit. No shade, so bring a hat, but most ride were 5 to 10 minutes. Surface interval was back at the dock for most dives.
They take a large boat to The Blue Hole(Newton 42 or 46?) The Blue Hole was a slightly murky wall dive for us. It's 130', so down, around a few stalactites and then back up the wall. I recommend the trip though, It's about an hour and a half to the blue hole, but then a shore lunch and very nice dives at Half Moon Caye and Long Caye. I'd take a long boat ride, even it was just for Half Moon and Long Caye.

Mini fridge, with beer, soda, water and snacks free. Charge for refills on beverages and snacks. Coffee tea in the morning delivered to door step. Sunday dinner was snapper and key line pie. Seconds on everything. Nice breeze 10 knots during the day. Šand fleas and Mosquitoes at sunset. A few biting flies. Dive master Brad and captain John. TIR time one hour ahead of Belize mainland. Bartender Fidel. Laura at bar. Joanne in restaurant. They know your name the second day.

"Happy hour" snacks, at the bar or Pool side. artichoke dip and crackers and plantain chips, conch fritters, flat bread pizzas. Fried shrimp with aoli.
Lunch, lasagne, beef patties wraps, beach Lunch chicken salad sandwiches and three salads. Dinner was Snapper, turkey breast, roast pork loin. Tuna steak, snapper, beef tenderloin, cioppiono. Sides, rice, grilled veggies, mashed potatoes, potatoes au gratin, chayote with mixed grilled veggies and goat cheese. Desserts. Ice cream, great bread pudding! Always offered additional servings of everything. One of our sons had two entrees most nights.

Breakfast, cold cereals, sweet and plain yogurt, muffins. Order off the menu, plus a daily special. Pancakes, French toast, meats, Benedict, eggs to order. Hot sauce beware.

Could use an early meal for night divers or save dinner or sandwiches for after dive at the bar. Don't plan on wifi for much more than email. Can use office computer for real internet if you need it. Down load books, user manuals, etc before you leave home.

Bug spray provided most places. Bar, dive shop, etc. Normal amenities in bath room, plus small sunscreen. Indoor and outdoor shower, most rooms. If you rent a BC, you'll use a weight belt.

They have weight belt keepers, my weights kept trying to slide off the belt.

Bring bottle stopper for beverages in the fridge. Bring colored hair scrunchies or bands to ID your weight belt. My weight belts got mixed up with another diver. Long pants, shirt, chap stick, hat for Blue Hole trip; shore lunch and bird island tour.

Quad plug outlets by nightstands. Nice looking hardwood floor, walls, outdoor furniture. All rooms have screened in porches with adirondack chairs. Rooms have rear entrance with exterior showers, that enter the regular shower area. Well maintained paint. New dock and breakwater addition, with chairs, benches and swing bed. Lots of places to sit and hang out. New Hobbie cat. Big sport fishing boat. Large center console sport fisher. 6 flats casting boats. Semi rigid tow boat. Dive boat, large Taxi dive boat. Fancy high speed runabout.

The Raddisson is at the dock where the resort will pick you up. It's a good place to stay, if you come in the night before. If you arrive the day of check-in, you can hang out at their pool and bar. The resort boat is very nice, with interior seating and a welcome rum or regular punch.
