Comments We have been diving on the Belize Aggressor III for several decades, and this was our first trip on the Aggressor IV.The boat is well laid out, more spacious. Nitrox is supposed to be available, which I require at my age to dive 4-5 dives a day. When we arrived, we were told the nitrox was not functioning, and the parts weer not available that week. I had to adjust my diving profiles, and cutting my dives down to 3/day. They did take the nitrox charge off our bill,
We dive all year - as we live in Florida and cave dive- and this was the first liveaboard since Covid started. We used this trip to get back in the groove. We understood things do break down, but there are a few parts they could have had for emergencies, and this was one of them.
Then, on the last day, we had major engine issues- the engine room started flooding, so we had to cut a dive or two and limped into port early safely. Things do happen on boats...it just wasn't our lucky week. Otherwise, the crew worked hard, the food was good, cabins were nice, and the diving was not too bad. Viz was around 40-60', and lots of sharks were seen.
