Comments REALLY rough weather this May, thanks to Hurricane Beryl...high wind & rain. We learned the preceeding week's group didn't get to dive all week. Heavy waves made surfacing/reentering MV hazardous --doffing gear/fins on drag line while trying to avoid being pulled under pitching dive platform or smacked by ladder. The dive crew did their very best to help under difficult circumstances.

Below surface, a few circling nurse sharks, a larger Caribbean reef shark, a few grey angels and French angels, lotsa yellowtail snapper. Next day brought sunshine, circling reef sharks, a large loggerhead turtle, scatterings of tropical fish.

Both SunBreeze Hotel & Ambergis Divers' wharf are only a block or two from excellent restaurants in San Pedro Town -- highly recommended: Elvi's Kitchen & Caramba's, as well as SunBreeze itself.
