Comments We had an absolutely wonderful trip! Since it had been a year since our last dive, we chose to follow the DM the first dive. We literally were 5 minutes into the dive when we were surrounded by nurse sharks-no exaggeration! They swam with us, under us, beside us, next to us the entire dive. In all our years of diving, we've never had that experience. After that dive, we went our own way and the diving was great, made me think about how restrictive it is at places we dive from a boat, with a group such as Cozumel. One dive we spent an hour at 30 ft. The crew was immediately safety conscious and aware of any particular needs of a passenger. Food was amazing and, well the accommodations were the best. We quit diving live abroads because we don't do bunkbeds anymore. The Belize IV is very comfortable. I sent a suggestion to the corporate office that they redesign more of their fleet for comfort since it seems the average age is 50 or more. Why hadn't we been on this trip before-it's a bit pricey; we took advantage of the 40% discount for their 40 year anniversary.
