Comments Had a really good time diving with Phil and his crew out of Speightstown, NW Barbados. We were staying just north of here and selected Reefers n Wreckers for two mornings of 4 dives in total.

Once we proved our competence, Phil allowed us to dive by ourselves (to a certain extent), especially when a couple of newly certified divers joined us.

We weren't expecting a great deal but we had a lot of fun. Reefs were OK, lots of turtles and pleasantly surprised by the amount of reef fish. Many different ribbon eels were spotted.

We did a wreck on a small to medium sized freighter that had a lot of growth and life around it.

Highlight for us was the Arawak Cement peer with loads of action around the pylons. Note: can only be dived when there is no ship tied up to the pier since it's a working factory and offloading pier.
