Comments We found "Lorenzo" on the internet and decided to go with him instead of the several other operations we were in contact with. Reasons? He was responsive and communicated well (even calling at 0345 to confirm one thing or the other). This is the second time we have dove Barbados (both times off a cruise ship) and I have to concur with the Undercurrent comment introducing Barnados. It's not a great dive destination but if you find yourself there, do indeed do some diving. It can be modestly rewarding. We dove the Stavronikita, a 320 foot interisland freighter intentionally sunk. It's Barbados' most visited site and well worth the effort. It's a great wreck dive. The "Stav" sits upright in the sand and is open to exploration. Some fish life but the wreck is the thing. On the second dive we dove "Dottin's Reef," an unremarkable low profile reef with modest (gracious understatement) marine life. A Spotted Moray Eel was the highlight here.

Lorenzo's crew is efficiant and attentive and the 37 foot boat was uncrowded with just the four members of our family and another eleven year old diver who just got certified along with his father watching bubbles. Lorenzo picked us up and re-delivered us to the cruise ship dock, which is some distance from his operation HQ, located at some funky beach resort. There is a nice rinse tank. Dive log stamp but no t-shirts. Attitudes: Breezy and friendly. "Stay cool mon... You have watch; I have time"
