Comments Grand Bahama is a VERY friendly island. You have to take in a Fish Fry while on the island! Island Seas Resort is in need of some maintenance. Being a Time Share instead of privately owned units shows less TLC in the unit. Bare bones accomodations. Had all the essentials though and air conditioning worked. Be prepared for early check out time - 10:00 am. Wanted $50.00 to stay another hour. Sunn Odyssey Divers was good - friendly operation. Drinking water on board but no snacks. First day boat dives were about a C. 2nd day was a B+. They cancelled 3rd day due to bad weather, but other operations went out (we were the only 2 booked for the boat so not much motivation to go out?). Always came up with over 1000 psi. Shark Junction is incredible. Approximately 12 reef sharks followed us around while we swam about the canyons in the reef. Saw quite a few lionfish each day.
