Comments To be clear, diving on this trip was a bonus, not planned. Called Stuart's on NY Eve 2009 and arranged diving for 1/2 & 1/3. Had been several years since diving, they did not mention that we would have to refresh. Picked up on time at hotel (Sheraton), fairly aggressive ride to resort. Told at check-in that would have to refresh, $130 per person, included one shallow open water dive after pool time. Newer employee did refresh, personable, quick but pertinent review. Shallow water dive viz low, coral definitely hurting, some smaller fish, choppy surface. Next day did "deep" dive (60'), nice fish, one reef shark, sponges good, viz 50'. 2nd dive 40' wreck dive, nice fish, ray, viz low. Air and water temps a bit on chilly side. No frills operation - no towels on boats, fresh water shower offered on 2nd day - cold water only, set up own tank/reg/bcd. People before us complained about diving same site 4 days in row. We had to do a boat-to-boat xfer the first day to rescue divers from boat with mechanical difficulty. They definitely want to sell you their photos, videos. Dive Masters ok, one or two personable, rest pretty average. Definitely a cattle car operation, but better than not diving at all.
