Comments The crew was fantastic and made every effort to provide great dive experiences along Eleuthera and the Exumas. The vessel itself is in need of some maintenance, as there were issues during the week with the system for pumping nitrox as well as with the on-board electrical generator. Safety was taken very seriously: we had a detailed mandatory safety briefing at the start of the trip and an unannounced fire drill early in the trip. The 2nd captain was awake and patrolling the vessel each night. And battery charging was restricted to the charging station on the dive deck or in other on-board locations but only when we were present. The quality of the dives was great, with depths ranging from 30' to 100' (and given the areas we were diving, the opportunity to do wall dives was frequent). Lots of swim-throughs, coral mounds, and reef fish. We saw numerous Caribbean Reef Sharks on several dives, along with large schools of Atlantic Spadefish, Crevalle Jacks, Black Jacks, Barracuda, and Yellowtail Snapper. (I think my personal list of species seen is about 100, ranging in size from jawfish to reef sharks.). We saw both Hawksbill and Loggerhead Turtles and a number of nudibranch species. The opportunity to dive Lost Blue Hole was a highlight!
