Comments I was in Nassau to see friends/family and do some business. Joan, the reservations manager, accommodated my uncertain schedule and even though it looked like I may be the only diver on a mid-week, off-season day, they were still willing to take me out diving. More divers showed up but I appreciate that assurance.

The Blue Hole here is small (100 ft in diameter) and on a clear day you can see the entire opening from around 80-90 ft. Unfortunately during this last trip the weather was windy and visibility not so hot on the day we went there but it was nevertheless awesome. Lots of lobsters, platforms and an interesting tunnel. Turtles and sharks swam around us and one shark stuck around during the shallow portion of the dive.

The next dive that day, Barracuda Shoals, is in a preserve and is so healthy and full of fish life that it rivals most places.

Other dives included Shipyard, where 3 boats had been sunk, Miranda, another boat dive and various shallow dives; outside the preserve they're not as healthy but the diving was interesting nevertheless.

Great when you're in Nassau off a cruise ship or on vacation when you're not at a dedicated dive resort. The staff was friendly (Cai was helpful with my gear since I had to lug it from the parking lot); Jesse and Arthur took some great video; and Roscoe, the captain, told some entertaining stories about old dive sites around the island. Collie, back in the dive shop, kept things running smoothly in a professional and courteous way.

All in all a professional, friendly, and easy-to-dive-with organization away from the cattle-car groups elsewhere on the island.
