Comments Palau is an amazing country, pristine, ecologically motivated, polite, friendly, and home to amazing waters in which to dive! There is much land-based diving available but a live-aboard is the way to go for divers who want the most time underwater, plus opportunities to sight-see neighboring islands. The pelagics are available on almost every dive, the terrain abounds with drama as well as healthy aquatic life. There are Tridacna giant clams, fields of lettuce coral, turtles galore, fascinating WW2 ship & plane wrecks, not a piece of debris in sight and healthy reefs!
The sight-seeing trips are well worth the time and effort, with amazing history, native orchids, jungles, waterfalls, hikes, relics, and mysteries!

UW Photo Comments We were all photographers on this trip and space was not a problem at all. It was easy for photographers and the crew was very helpful and accommodating! Bring a longer multiplug charge cord, the outlets are generally overhead.
There is a warm, dry towel and warm drink waiting for you after every dive! The food was 5-star at every meal!

Palau is the most pristine of almost any locale I have traveled in my centuries of dive travel! I saw no little and only 1 lone cigarette butt in the 2 weeks of touring, both land and underwater! The people are warm and welcoming! The waters are largely untouched by humans!
