Comments Spent 2 weeks aboard the Don Questo in the deep Southern Sudanese Red Sea. Suakin Archipelago and below. Remote. Rarely even a fishing boat seen. Pristine reefs, large schools of jacks, barracuda, sweetlips, tuna. Large schools of hammerheads. Sharks on every dive. Silkys, grey tips, black tips. One site had a group of 6-8 tiger sharks. Unbelievable coral formations and sheer quantity of life.

Experienced captain, divemaster, and crew. Quite strong currents on occasion. Not for beginners. Dove from zodiacs. Boat very well set up for diving. Accommodations are not luxurious, but adequate. Food was quite good. Sudan was very laid back. No problems or hassles.
