Comments Initial visit to Salt Cay. Stayed for one week. Chose Salt Cay Divers based on Chapbook information. All very accurate. Debbie has an excellent dive operation for people looking for laid back diving under calm conditions. Stayed on leeward side of island to avoid rougher seas. Mike and Craig do excellent job as divemasters. Easy back roll into water, remove gear on return to boat. Walls and reefs in good shape. Saw rays, morays, turtles, etc. Whales near boat on one surface interval. Awesome to hear whales when on wall!! We had Debbie shop for us prior to arrival so we could prepare some meals in suite. Our Tradewinds mini-suite was clean and had plenty of hot water. Screened porches are a plus. Provided bikes are great way to tour island. Meals at Island Thyme can become an event thanks to personality of Porter. Also ate at Pat's Place and Green Flash. Be sure to eat with Maria at Mount Pleasant Guest House.
