Overall Rating

We were in Turks and Caicos July 1- 8, 2006, our second trip.  We stayed at
Harbor Club Villas which is on the opposite side of the island from the
busy, developed 7-mile beach, a 10 minute drive.  Marta and Barry run the
small, ten villa "resort" and are the most wonderful people.  HCV
is not on the ocean but by the marinas of several dive operations.  It is
not a five star resort so we loved it.  We chose Flamingo Divers because of
their small size, 6 divers max.  Jayne and Micky are super nice and make
you feel like family.  Once you leave equipment with them you do not touch
it until you depart.  All two-tank a.m. dives were to West Caicos and were
wonderful.  Sharks on almost every dive and five on our last dive.  Healthy
reefs, coral, tons of fish but none of the numerous turtles four years ago.
 Only criticism, all dives were to West Caicos.  We did dive with Ocean
Vibes one day.  We left from the busy side of the island and went to the NW
wall.  Great dives, nice people and I am glad we dove with them, but, big
busy boat, 20 plus divers, stops at two resorts for pick-ups and lots of
wasted time.  T & C has great diving and if we go back, we will dive
with Flamingo Divers and stay at Harbor Club Villas.  Highly recommended.
