Comments Luggage arrived with us. Our carry on luggage was not weighed. The flight from Providenciales did not have accomodation for much carry on luggage.
The dive shop at East Bay Resort is on the resort property. Very skilled dive master who moved slowly in the water. Diving was completely safe, no need for a snorkel. Back roll entry and exit the water via a ladder at the rear of the zodiac.
Five dive sites are routinely used, all 5-10 minutes from the resort.
Our favorite site was The Arch with a school of Amberjack in the arch and the top of the arch with fans and good corals and a school of blue striped grunts.
Also saw a few turtles, a selection of southern sting rays, a school of 4 eagle rays, and many parrotfish.
No need for a wet suit, no thermocline, warm water diving.
The East Bay Resort has a small menu. Dining in town is an option. Our room had a beautiful view of the ocean and included a clothes washer and dryer. We did not return home with stinky dive gear!

This dive shop daily has a one tank dive at 10:00 am and a one tank dive at about 1:30 or 2:00 pm.
All dives are "led" dives, usually at a dive mooring, or anchor was dropped if needed. This meant we could always descend on while holding onto a line.

Few divers in late July. We may return in late January or February to try and see whales.
