We were with a group of photographers, and so the camera room was a little
cramped. Some had to set their gear up elsewhere.
No rinse tanks on the boats.
OUTSTANDING subject material including: frog fish, wunderpus, pipe fish of
all types, tons of nudibranchs, etc.

In my opinion this is one of the best dive sites in the world. Lots of very
unusual stuff. Resort was very nice.
This is the land of No's. No solo diving. No diving away from the group. No
dives longer than 1 hour. No shore diving, no diving after 750 psi at your
rest stop, no unsupervised night dives. Way too much baby sitting for me!
The divemaster was a nervous wreck trying to keep track of everyone.
In defense, there can be ripping currents which can separate divers.
There are LOTS of other dive operations on Puerto Gallera, and I would
check into them.
Quite a treck getting to the resort. 2+ hours van ride from Manila over
bumps roads then 1 hour boat ride.
1. bring a reef hook
2. get the massage ($20.00 at the resort for 1 hour, and $10.00 down the
3. Get nitrox. I tried air for 1 day, but was bumping against NDL on the
third dive.
