Comments	Puerto Galera/El Galleon is one of my favorite places to dive and except for Australia sets the standard I use for diving other places in Asia. If you would like an intorduction to drift diving it has many opportunities to experience the effects of island tides and coveringblarge distances in a short period of time. It also has "canyons" where you can sit below the current and watch the sea life be carried past you in the current. The water clarity can be excellent and when I compare my photographs from other locations it is obvious that this is a good location for taking pictures. The hotel staff is excellent and while not a five star hotel it is more than comfortable. The dive masters with one exception try hard to make your dives memorable. The English for some of the dive masters can be a bit lacking but we had no problems communicating with them. Unfortunately the experience was not 100 percent because we had one dive master who decided the dive was his opportunity to take pictures. Since this was a drift dive my buddy and I were left to trying to swim against the current while this guy took pictures. Perhaps because this dive master was from the US he felt that he did not have to provide the same level of service to visiting Americans.
