Comments the worst part of the trip was the flight to/from port moresby to milne bay. air nuigini has a deserved bad rep. allow extra time for unexpected cancellations,etc.. tawali was incredibly beautiful and relaxing. fun van ride to/from the airport to resort. (2hrs though) the sunset mandarin fish dive off dock was outstanding. i wish i'd "done" that dive every evening.extremely friendly staff made me welcome and comfortable. no bugs when i was there, except, when i went on the cave excursion and the red ants were biting on the beach where the natives had set up some local shopping.only choppy water was when we went to outer reef. strong current there, too, but it was worth the effort!

UW Photo Comments there was no functional rinse tank on the dock. small tanga's had a camera table. staff handled my camera with care, even, covering it with a towel while we were motoring.
