Just thought you might want to know what kind of non-support Peter Hughes
gives to members of the U.S. military, especially in light of the fact that
most of his customers are from the U.S. I am on active duty with the Army
and was sent to a temporary duty assignment which unfortunately coincided
with a trip I had planned to PNG on the MV Star Dancer. I had already paid
for the trip and had requested the necessary leave time but this assignment
came up at the last minute and took precedence, the Army is not a
democracy. I notified Peter Hughes of this situation at least a month
before the trip was schediuled to take place I was told that if they
couldn't sell my spot I would forfeit the entire $3600.00. They tried to
sell my slot but of course that didn't happen. I think Peter Hughes should
be a bit more supportive of situations like this and I think military
personnel should be made aware and be leery of booking trips with his
company.
