Because of high water temperature, there were a lot of multicellular creatures in the water that reduced vis. Still, vis was fine for most puroses except photography. Vis inside wrecks was very limited and so photos of large objects like airplanes and trucks in holds was not possible. Still fantastic diving and close up photos of cockpits, radiators and tires turned out fine. Photows on deck of large objects like tanks were fine also. Some reports of locals using explosives from the ships for illegal fishing around the wrecks and in holds. Not much enforcement apparent. Divemasters and all the crew were terrific. So were the passengers. Can't imagine a better trip. |
